How can I join ShuswapVC?
To join Shuswap VC, you need to register for tryouts. If you missed tryouts, feel free to contact us and we may be able to work something out if a trial player decides not to accept playing on a specific team. Additionally, we advise you to view the club expectations and rules below.
After tryout evaluation you will be informed if you make the team or not, within the next 15 days.
If you make a team, you will need to pay fees partial fees for the season before practices begin in January. If you have questions and concerns, you can contact us any time! You can also apply for KidSport grants, etc. (see our opportunities page for more information and links).
Train and Play?
Depending on demand (of those not on a formal team), we will form a train and play program to ensure athletes get an opportunity to grow and play in a fun environment!
What is the cost of ShuswapVC training programs?
In this economy?! At Shuswap VC, we understand the importance of making our programs accessible to all young athletes. That's why we offer affordable training programs and aim to fundraise for those who cannot afford to play.

Cost for the coming club season is estimated to be between $700-1000 for the coming season (seasonal fees - tournament and officials, etc., coaches expenses, equipment, and uniform costs) but there is a $75 fee for Volleyball BC registration and travel expenses are extra (hotel, food, etc.).
We understand that cost is an important factor, and we want to assure you that every effort will be made to keep fees reasonable. For player development, we believe the experience gained from participating in a club team is invaluable, and we are committed to making this opportunity accessible to all interested players.
